Orient Progressive Social Forum Holds ‘A Night with the President’ 

The Orient Progressive Social Forum is set to host the third edition of its glamorous  ‘A Night with the President’. The forum, which holds today November 17 at the Wheatbaker hotel Ikoyi, Lagos, serves as a platform for influential entrepreneurs and professionals to network and discuss ambitious ideas that are poised to alter the developmental trajectory of the southeastern states. 

Its always an evening where distinguished economic influencers and hi-net worth individuals   gather to share their thoughts, opinions and experiences aimed at enhancing socio-economic advancement of the region and the entirety of Nigeria. This years  event, will see the  launching of the Orient Impact Programme which is designed to uplift the less privileged in various Igbo communities, bring development to the rural areas, and building of human capacity.

The Orient impact programme is aimed at mentoring the youths, reaching out to the poor and entrepreneurship empowerment scheme, instituting the Orient legacy scholarship fund, youth InfoTech skill acquisition scheme among others. In alignment with the core values of the forum and part of the initiative, the forum will be giving out food items to fifty families in the Umuomaku community in Anambra State and cash gifts to few teachers within the community. The Orient Progressive Social Forum represents  bold initiatives led by socially innovative Igbo professionals, businessmen, and technocrats. It is a platform for social re-engineering with the aim of uniting millions of innovative Igbo entrepreneurs, professionals, intentional individuals, willing to create  powerful and influential business network in all the critical spaces in the Nigeria economy.
