In a bid to promote sustainable transportation, Qoray Mobility and the Isimi Wellness & Polo Country Estate have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at revolutionizing mobility in Nigeria’s premier eco-conscious community.
This partnership will see Qoray Mobility, a Sterling Bank-backed electric mobility initiative, introduce electric vehicle (EV) transport solutions and charging infrastructure to the Isimi Lagos estate, a luxury, eco-friendly community developed by LandWey. The agreement positions Isimi Lagos as a leading destination for sustainable living, blending luxury with environmental consciousness.
The collaboration will kick off with Qoray Mobility acting as the official mobility sponsor for the upcoming Isimi Lagos Festival on November 30, providing zero-emission electric vehicles for seamless transportation across the estate. Beyond this, the partnership signals a long-term commitment to sustainable development, including the rollout of EV charging stations and exclusive offers for property buyers to acquire Qoray electric vehicles with every plot purchased in Isimi Lagos until December 31.
Founder of Isimi Lagos, Olawale Ayilara, described the partnership as a vital step toward securing the future of mobility in Lagos.
“We’ve been researching for the right partner to facilitate the future of mobility in Isimi Lagos, and collaborating with Qoray ensures that the future is premium,” he said.
Managing Director of Qoray Mobilities and Energies Limited, Olabanjo Alimi highlighted the broader sustainability goals tied to the partnership.
“We’re bringing sustainable mobility, renewable energy, sustainable tourism, waste-to-energy, and sustainability consulting to elevate Isimi Lagos’s standards and outcomes.”
Qoray Mobility’s affiliate brands, Torrista and Imperium, will be central to driving the sustainability agenda at Isimi Lagos. Torrista will promote eco-tourism within the estate, while Imperium will spearhead renewable energy installations, such as solar-powered street lights and community centres. The partnership will also implement a waste-to-wealth initiative in collaboration with Wastebanc, alongside educational efforts to encourage sustainable practices among residents.
This partnership is a major milestone for Lagos’ green mobility efforts and sets a precedent for eco-friendly urban development across Nigeria. With the introduction of electric vehicles, renewable energy installations, and comprehensive charging infrastructure, the collaboration is expected to reshape urban transportation and sustainable living in Nigeria’s luxury real estate market.
