NSFDW Announces International Goodwill Ambassadors for 2024 “Fashion Forward” Edition
The Nigerian Student Fashion & Design Week (NSFDW) is gearing up for its highly anticipated 7th edition, and organizers are excited to unveil the international ambassadors supporting the event this year.
Since its inception, NSFDW has stood as a premier platform for Nigeria’s emerging fashion talent, providing young designers with opportunities to showcase their creativity, gain industry exposure, and learn the business of fashion. For 2024, the theme “Fashion Forward” continues to push the boundaries of African fashion’s future.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and more impactful, with runway shows featuring fresh talent, workshops led by industry leaders, and exclusive networking opportunities. Prizes for standout designers include the Etimbuk Udoh Prize for Most Creative Female Designer, the BlackNBold Prize for Most Creative Male Designer, and a chance to showcase at Dallas Fashion Week in 2025.
Abiola Orimolade, founder of NSFDW, shared his excitement for the event, saying, “NSFDW has evolved into a global platform, and our ambassadors this year truly embody our mission to inspire creativity and celebrate the brilliance of young designers.”
The event will take place from November 26th to 30th, culminating in the grand finale show on November 30th at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
The 2024 international goodwill ambassadors are as follows:
Platinum Ambassador: Oluwashina Odelade
Gold Ambassadors: Larry Foreman, Olaitan Talabi, Esther Agyekum, Kemi Ayoade
Silver Ambassadors: Lilian Onyenobi, Ugochukwu Idebolo, Noella Assam, Emmanue Eleruja, Ibukun Agboola, Oluyemi Akinyemi, Daniel Sadiq, Fath McKinstry, Bukola Orimolade and Karina Cavazos.
