The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoS), Mrs. Esther Didi Walson-Jack, has urged the 332 newly promoted directors to embrace reforms tailored to improve service delivery, enhance productivity and accountable civil service.
She made the plea in Abuja during the recognition dinner organised by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation in partnership with Felak Concept Group in honour of the directors.
The HoS said the reform initiatives embedded in the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025, also known as FCSSIP 25, have a roadmap to reposition the Civil Service into a world-class institution that drives sustainable national development.
Walson-Jack charged the directors with the enormous task ahead, noting their influence and impact would shape the future of the civil service.
She described the elevation as a trust and expectations placed upon the officers by the Federal Civil Service and the nation at large.
“This is a call to leadership, to stewardship, and to serve as beacons of integrity, professionalism, and innovation. As Directors, you are at the forefront of this transformative agenda.
“I urge you to embrace the reforms embedded in FCSSIP 25 with utmost commitment and enthusiasm. Let your decisions and actions reflect the highest standards of public service,” she said.
