Sturna: Rising from the Shadows to Light Up the Global Stage

Elton Oghenemene Emekeme, better known as Elton Sturna, is steadily becoming a force in Nigeria’s vibrant music scene.

Born in Lagos and raised in Delta State, his musical journey began humbly in the church, where he first played the drums and later experimented with the keyboard. This early foundation planted the seeds for what would become an inspiring musical voyage.

In 2017, Elton’s journey took a pivotal turn when he traveled to Tema, Ghana, for his first studio session.

There, he recorded mixtapes that resonated with local audiences, giving him a taste of the recognition to come. Between 2019 and 2022, he honed his craft, releasing a string of singles that showcased his growth and set the stage for his debut EP, “Star Life,” in 2022.

After taking a brief break to recalibrate, Elton returned stronger than ever in 2024 with his breakout single, “Hard To Get.”

The track struck a chord with Nigerian music lovers, catapulting him into the spotlight and cementing his status as an emerging star. Reflecting on his path, Elton sees his music as more than a career—it’s a divine mission. He believes his songs are meant to touch lives and inspire change.

With his next project, “Believe, Time,” set for release in 2025, Elton is determined to take his sound to the global stage. “I’m here for a purpose,” he declares, confident in his destiny. “The world isn’t ready for what’s coming.”
