Five SMEs Win N5m in Biodun and Ibikunle Foundation’s 5th Year SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme

In a momentous celebration of entrepreneurship, five exceptional businesses have emerged as beneficiaries of the Biodun and Ibikunle Foundation’s (BIF) 5th Year Anniversary cycle of the SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme.

The winners— HappyCoffee Nigeria, Mercysweet Foods, 7even Empire, Ennie Wears, and Kreme De La Kakes—who were selected based on their business potential, impact, and innovation, will receive asset support and strategic guidance from seasoned entrepreneurs and experts.

This will empower them to scale their operations and contribute to the growth of Nigeria’s economy.

Speaking at the SEEDINVEST top five finalists’ breakfast meeting, held in Lagos recently, the Founder of the Biodun and Ibikunle Foundation, Biodun Adegoke, charged beneficiaries to leverage the opportunity to break barriers.

According to Adegoke, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the businesses who participated in the 2024 SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme, especially to the Top 5 Finalists. Their hard work, passion, and perseverance has earned them a spot among the best, and we commend them for this significant achievement.

“As a Foundation, it is our hope that this recognition fuels their ambition as they continue to break barriers and push boundaries. We are excited to witness their future accomplishments and advancements in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

For the fifth consecutive year, the SEEDINVEST Acceleration Programme has provided entrepreneurs with crucial capacity-building sessions and asset support, equipping them to build scalable and sustainable businesses.

The programme is known for its focus on empowering nano, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across various sectors by offering financial support, training, and mentorship.

This year’s cohort represents a diverse range of industries, each with a unique impact on Nigeria’s entrepreneurial landscape.

Through the SEEDINVEST Programme, BIF aims to nurture these businesses into future leaders and role models in their respective sectors.

As the SEEDINVEST Programme enters its 5th year, BIF remains committed to uplifting the next generation of Nigerian entrepreneurs, driving innovation, and fostering economic growth.”
