Yuletide: Osanebi releases 200 million naira for Deltans.

Ahead of the Yuletide season, former Deputy Speaker of DTHA, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi has released the sum of two hundred million naira for procurement of items to be distributed across Delta State.

Making the announcement during the inauguration of the committee set up to supervise the process, Osanebi said he was motivated to spend such a huge amount because of the current situation of the economy.

According to Osanebi, his desire during this Yuletide season is to put smiles on as many faces as possible, adding that he derives joy from seeing his people happy.

While charging the committee to be pro active and diligent in their supervision of the distribution process, Osanebi called on other well to do Deltans to reach out to as many people as the can.

The 8 man committee is chaired by Chief Lucas Obiosa, with Idi Presley serving as secretary. Other members include Chief Nkencho Kingsley, Oputa Kris, Churchill Oyem, Chief Gregory Onah, Mrs. Ann Olisa and Uju Eke Patricia.

Some of the items to be distributed includes, trailer load of rice, cows, goats, cash, groundnut oil, tin tomatoes and other essential items.
