FEI Plans World’s Most Attended Webinar on Financial Education

The Financial Education Initiative (FEI) is poised to host the world’s most attended webinar on financial education, as announced by National Coordinator, Dr. Noel Akpata. 

This groundbreaking event series is part of FEI’s broader efforts to promote financial literacy and education in Nigeria.

Dr. Akpata made this announcement after a meeting with Nigeria’s Minister of State Education in Abuja (As seen in the Photo) to discuss key components of the Initiative. 

Details about the world record setting webinar, which will be unveiled during the project launch in Abuja, marks a significant milestone in FEI’s mission to empower Nigerians with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions.

According to the National Coordinator, the Financial Education Initiative has two key components. The first component is designed to spark a national financial literacy and savings revolution, backed by one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions.

The second component is the concept launch of Nigeria’s first Bloomberg financial markets lab, in partnership with the Dangote Business School. 

This cutting-edge facility will provide students and professionals with hands-on experience in financial markets, using Bloomberg terminals to analyze financial data, track economic trends, and develop investment strategies.

Both components of the Initiative, along with partner public and private sector brands, will be unveiled at the launch event on December 18, 2024.

“The Financial Education Initiative is committed to empowering Nigerians with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions,” said Dr. Akpata. “Our strategy on financial education delivery is just the beginning of our efforts to promote financial literacy and education in Nigeria.”
