JCI Lekki Royale Inducts Hassan Ismail President
The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Lekki Royale has inducted Dr.Hassan Ismail as its
2025 President during its 3rd Annual Royale Convention and Investiture Ceremony.
The event which held at the Swiss International Hotel in Lagos, also celebrated the achievements of outgoing 2024 President Yetunde Oyeyipo, whose tenure was said to be marked with transformative leadership and significant milestones.
The convention, themed “Visionary Leadership: Sustaining the Vision,” brought together distinguished guests and members to reflect on past achievements and chart the course for the future.
In her farewell address, Oyeyipo reflected on her presidency, highlighting accomplishments such as the Royale Academy Program expansion and impactful community initiatives like Project KICK 2.0.
“Serving as President of this incredible organization has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I am confident that Dr. Hassan will continue to elevate our vision and achieve even greater milestones,” she stated.
In his inaugural speech, Hassan pledged to build on the legacy of his predecessor.
He said, “It is an honor to build on the legacy of my predecessor. Together, we will empower young professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives to be change-makers in our society. We will prioritize impactful initiatives, international collaborations, and personal and professional growth opportunities”.
Other board members inducted alongside Ismail were :Vice President (Internal), Emmanuel Nsikan; Vice President (External), Nimota Gbaja-Jimoh; General Legal Counsel, Bassey Bassey; General Secretary, Emeya Friday; and Treasurer, Doyinsola Omotosho.
The event featured a keynote address by Regional Tax Manager for West Africa at Standard Chartered Bank, Olutoyin Ojomalade who provided insights on leadership and sustainability. 2022 President of JCI Nigeria, Senator Olawale Bakare also delivered an inspiring presentation, challenging attendees to take on greater responsibilities.
