Nwangwu Goldermeir: The Multi-Talented Creative Entrepreneur Making Waves in the Entertainment Industry

Nwangwu Goldermeir, popularly known as Gold De Ambasadore and Coach Gold Añuli is a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. With a career spanning over two decades, this multi-talented creative entrepreneur thrives as a cinematographer, vocal coach, singer, songwriter, music producer, video editor and documentary filmmaker.

Her journey in the creative industry began in 2004, when she started performing music as a young student. At the time, the Nigerian music industry was still in its infancy, and only the toughest could survive. However, Goldermeir persevered, and over the years, she has become an accomplished multi-versed Creative Entrepreneur, songwriter, producer, vocal coach, cinematographer, video editor and filmmaker.

Today, Goldermeir is the CEO of T-groopz Music Limited and Singbeta Training Studios, a renowned voice training center both registered and based in Lagos, Nigeria. As a vocal coach, she has trained over 5,000 singers globally as well as professional musicians, church choirs, and label artists within and outside the country. Her contribution to society extends beyond the entertainment industry, as she founded the Kulienu LifeBuilders Foundation in 2023, which focuses on climate change awareness, mental health, and behavioural reforms in society.

Relying totally on God as source, Goldermeir’s passion is helping talented people discover themselves and grow to their full potential. Her personal values include integrity, transparency and smart work.

In a most recent development, Goldermeir has partnered with the UNITED STATES MISSIONS in Nigeria in the production of several documentary video projects showcasing the thriving US in Nigeria Projects and programs. Her company, T-Groopz Music Limited, is currently set to partner with Ideabox Worldwide Ltd. Abuja, promoters of SMEDAN IDEA Film Academy, to further expand her brand’s reach and impact. She is also a mentor and Music Academy director to the Chicago Based Organization, Blazing Youngsters and Achievers Network (BYAN).

When asked how she combines her multiple talents, Goldermeir replied, “I’m the common factor, right? So, because creativity in the entertainment industry is a process that flows, the skills always connect. There’s always a demand for one or more of them, and that means multiple streams.”

Goldermeir’s journey has not been without its challenges. When asked about the challenges she faced while training close to 5,000 people, she replied, “Training lots of people always comes with the challenge of having to constantly develop myself in order to continue the process of value addition and also stay on top of my game.”

Growing up in Owerri, her early life was quiet and conservative. However, she was focused on her studies while pursuing her passion for music. On her vision for the future, Goldermeir replied, “We are going into mogul territories, building solid platforms for talent discovery and artist development through international collaborations and having global impact.”

Goldermeir’s take on the Nigerian creative and entertainment industry is that while it is renowned globally, it is yet developing. She believes that the industry is growing vertically, but it will be more balanced when it grows horizontally.
