Vivajets Sponsors AFIS, Reiterates Role of Private Aviation in Business Connectivity
Business Aviation firm, Vivajets, has announced its sponsorship of the Africa Financial Summit (AFIS) 2024 as part of its commitment to supporting growth of African economy.
The summit holding between 9-10 December in Casablanca, Morocco will bring
together policymakers, regulators, and financial industry leaders to explore strategies for building an efficient, inclusive, and sustainable financial sector in Africa.
CEO of Vivajets, Chukwuerika Achum stated that the company’s sponsorship of the event highlights the transformative impact of business aviation on African connectivity, innovation, and collaboration.
“Business aviation is not just a service; it’s a critical enabler for progress. It connects leaders, ideas, and opportunities, helping to shape a brighter future for Africa.

The company also recently showcased its newly designed cabin crew uniforms, created by Ivorian designer Loza Maléombho, at Lagos Fashion Week 2024.
At the Africa CEO Forum in Kigali, Rwanda earlier this year, Achum emphasized the role of business aviation in promoting regional integration under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
“Aviation bypasses the geographical and logistical barriers that have hindered Africa’s development, enabling hassle-free collaboration for leaders and businesses across the continent,” he stated.
Speaking further on the sponsorship, COO of Vivajets Tejumade Salami expressed excitement at collaborating with financial leaders, saying that it was an avenue to collectively explore strategies to unlock Africa’s potential.”
