Oguta, Imo State, was Friday thrown into celebration mood as their prominent daughter and Minister of State, Finance, Doris Uzoke-Anite, hosted a large number of distinguished personalities who thronged the ancient town for the final burial rites of her late mother.
The Minister’s mother transited to higher glory in early July.
Following the demise of the Minister’s late mother, prominent personalities led by the President and Commander-in-Chief, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had condoled with the family and prayed for the repose of the soul of the late matriarch.
Yesterday, Oguta witnessed the final burial rites of the Minister’s mother in an elaborate and befitting ceremony witnessed by who is who amongst the political, business, and corporate class.
