Pisi Mobile, a technology solution provider for businesses, has changed its brand identity from Pisi Mobile to Pisi, in order to reflect its broader vision that stretches beyond service provisioning.
Speaking during the unveiling of its new brand identity in Lagos, its Chief Operating Officer (COO), Gabriel Ferrer Flegeau, explained that the new identity was not just about rebranding, but a declaration of intent.
“Our transition from Pisi Mobile to simply Pisi reflects our broader vision—a vision of being more than a service provider. Pisi is now an ecosystem for innovation where technology empowers African businesses to do more. This identity symbolises the union of innovation and simplicity, ensuring that businesses don’t just compete but thrive,” Flegeau said.
Giving details of the company’s journey, Flegeau said it started with one clear mission to simplify connectivity and technology for African businesses. “It wasn’t just about providing services, it was about solving real problems. We began as a Value-Added Services aggregator, partnering with Mobile Network Operators and service providers to create seamless solutions. But we didn’t stop there. As businesses across telecoms, FMCG, fintech, and other sectors evolved, so did we.
We expanded into messaging solutions, advertising technology, telecom reseller products, and beyond. Each step forward was driven by the belief that businesses deserve more efficiency, more reach, and more opportunities to succeed,” Flegeau further said.
According to him, with the new identity that is based on expanded vision, Pisi is here to meet the challenges of today and prepare businesses for the opportunities of tomorrow.
“Our refreshed identity is more than just a design; it’s a promise. The modern, dynamic logo reflects everything we stand for: innovation, simplicity, and empowerment. It is a bold new face for a bold new chapter. As we step into this new era, our promise remains steadfast: We are your partner in growth, your ally in innovation, and your collaborator in creating a brighter future for African business,” Flegeau said.
Head, Business and Advertising, Bukayo Ewuoso, said the company was inspired to rebrand because it wanted to serve its customers and partners better and evolve with them as they grow and expand their businesses.
“With the rebranding, we are better positioned to serve our partners and customers in more efficient ways. Previously we were known as Pisi Mobile, which majorly focused on Value Added Service (VAS) aggregator, and that basically meant that we were infrastructure business sitting between the MNOs and the content providers, as well as the customers of the MNOs to be able to provide additional services. But now, in terms of rebranding, our services will be expanded to meet the expansion needs of our customers’ businesses. There will be identity changes like the logo, the name, but at the core of it, is actually expanding our business solutions to meet the growing needs of our customers,” Ewuoso said.
