Author Unveils Book ‘Maximising Your Career Seasons’ to Empower Professionals

The founder of Inspired for Impact,  a non-profit organisation, Victoria Ibhawa, has launched a book ‘Maximising Your Career Seasons’, aimed at empowering professionals throughout their career journeys.

Speaking at the book launch in Lagos, Ibhawa explained that the book was inspired by her desire to help professionals to navigate various stages of their careers, enabling them to become their most productive and fulfilled selves. 

Drawing on her 17 years of experience in the workforce, she shared insights on how she overcame challenges and grew in her career.

The author further explained that one of the chapters sheds light on the crucial role gratitude plays towards achieving and sustaining a successful and fulfilling career, as all fingers are not equal. 

“You need to have a mission and vision for yourself. You need to be strategic towards your goals and career in order to soar higher. 

“This would also help you plan for the harsher seasons, like when you are much older and looking to retire. Because you want to have a strong retirement plan,” she stressed.

The author added, “we believe and desire that this book would and should be utilised as a guide for  professionals; something that they can use as guide through the various seasons of their career.”

Ibahwa stated that the book also serves as a valuable resource for individuals at all stages of their careers, offering practical guidance to help them thrive. 

“It is also intended as a reference for new employees entering the workforce, providing them with essential tools to succeed in their professional paths.”
