Gov Sani Partners eTranzact to Deepen Financial Inclusion in Kaduna

The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to deepen financial inclusion among the needy and vulnerable citizens by partnering eTranzact,the country leading payment and switching firm.
The governor spoke in Abuja at the launch of the company’s innovative solutions – Credo and PocketMoni.
He said the current efforts by the state government had restored the indigent population to the path of prosperity through eTranzact’s easily accessible banking products.
He said, “As of today, we have close to three million people in Kaduna State benefiting from eTranzact banking because of its easy accessibility to a wide range of people, regardless of their localities.”
Sani said signing the Executive Bill on eTranzact banking was the first act he performed as governor of the state after he assumed office in May 2023, adding that he was already concerned that over 70 per cent of Nigerians were financially excluded.
He added that this constituted a clog in the economic and social progress of the people.
The governor said, “My people can now access whatever interventions accruing to them from the federal and state governments without stress and this is one of the reasons I am at this launch as I have said I will always support any initiative like this.”
The governor enjoined the federal and state governments to maximise the benefits derivable from the banking products offered by the country’s leading payment and switching company to achieve economic prosperity for the people.
