Bramble Network Founder, Odunayo Aliu, Wins The Future Awards Africa 2024 Prize for Education

Bramble Network founder, Odunayo Aliu has been awarded The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) 2024 Prize for Education recognizing her impact and transformative change in the education sector in Nigeria.
Odunayo at the event held in Lagos with this year’s theme, “celebrating the great and daring” was announced winner of the coveted prize, acknowledging her enormous contributions towards uplifting the status of Nigerian youths through education.
The Future Awards Africa, a platform that recognizes young Africans driving positive change across the continent is often described as “the Nobel Prize for young Africans.”
The award recognizes young leaders who are at the forefront of progress in their industries. It honours young individuals aged 18 to 31 who have achieved remarkable accomplishments during the year under consideration. Forbes has recognized TFAA as the “Most important awards for outstanding young Africans.”
This year’s Education champion of the Year award celebrates Odunayo’s dedication to breaking barriers to education for children in rural and marginalized communities through
Bramble Network’s impactful programs.
The Award celebrates exceptional talent, innovative thinking and sustainable educational
solutions with far-reaching impacts on African Education.
According to Odunayo, the Prize for Education award is dedicated to persons and organisations who has supported Bramble Network’s mission, from donors and team members to volunteers and, most importantly, the communities served.
Reflecting on the award, Odunayo said, “This award is not just for me; it is for every child who dares to dream, every girl striving for a future against all odds, and every partner who believes in our mission. Education changes everything, and this is just the beginning.”
“This award is a call to action for all who believe in education’s power to transform lives. Bramble Network invites partners, supporters, and changemakers to join hands and amplify this mission,” she added.
Under Odunayo’s leadership, Bramble Network has made remarkable strides in bridging the educational gap for children and youths in rural and marginalized communities.
Bramble Network’s initiatives such as their tuition free innovative learning centers in rural villages, their RuralED teachers training programm, the Girls’ Dormitory Project, Annual Scholarships for children in Arikanki, Oyo State and Innovative Learning Spaces have paved the way for quality education where it is needed most.
One of the beneficiaries of Bramble Network’s programs, a young scholar named Amina, shared that, “Through Bramble Network, I can go to school and dream of becoming a doctor. Ms. Odunayo believes in us, and that gives me hope.”
Odunayo’s tireless work demonstrates that grassroots solutions can bring about systemic change. Her focus on education as a tool for empowerment has inspired not only her team but also a broader community of supporters.
