APC National Women Leader Hails Resilience of Benue Women, Lauds Gov Alia

Makurdi, the bustling Benue capital came alive as Dr. Mary Alile Idele, the APC National Woman Leader, arrived for the much-anticipated APC Benue Women Summit and Dialogue. The event, convened by Mrs. Helen Pinen Agaigbe, APC Benue State Women Leader, attracted women from across the state, highlighting the party’s commitment to empowering and uplifting women in Nigeria.

Upon her arrival, Idele received a resounding welcome from the enthusiastic crowd of APC women who gathered to celebrate her. The summit, a platform for dialogue and capacity-building, also underscored the vital role women play in societal progress and nation-building.

In her keynote address, Dr. Alile passionately celebrated the contributions of women, emphasizing their resilience, strength, and indispensable role in Nigeria’s development. She noted,

The APC National Woman Leader expressed profound appreciation to the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her unwavering dedication to the welfare of women through her Renewed Hope Initiative. She also acknowledged the remarkable support of His Excellency, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, the Governor of Benue State, for his steadfast commitment to empowering women in the state. “Governor Alia’s unwavering support for women’s initiatives is a testament to his progressive leadership and dedication to gender inclusivity,” She remarked.

The event witnessed high-profile attendees, including Hon. Benjamin Omale, Chairman of the APC Benue State, who joined Dr. Alile at the high table. The camaraderie and shared vision among party leaders and members underscored the unity within the APC.

A notable highlight was Alile’s interaction with DCNS. Serumun Deborah Aber Esq., Secretary to the Benue State Government. The two leaders exchanged ideas and pledged to continue advocating for policies that promote women’s empowerment in the state and beyond.
