Esther Whyte, World’s Youngest Nightclub Owner To Mark Ecstasy’s First Anniversary
Esther Whyte right in her early 20s has already made history as the youngest nightclub owner in the world. At 22 she conceived the idea to build and at 23 she opens the club. In line with this unmatchable milestone, she is set to celebrate her business’s first anniversary at 24 as it has evolved to be one of the hotspot for nightlife enthusiasts in Lagos.
Ecstasy is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, unmatched hospitality and service, cutting edge entertainment which has earned the club a loyal clientele but have also solidified Esther Bassey Isemin status as a trailblazer on the nightlife scene. On how she feels as her establishment clocks one she discloses that, “I’m really just proud of myself, I knew I was a strong girl but I didn’t know I am this strong. Running a nightclub business is not child’s play but I’m glad I was able to keep going no matter what. I’m marinating well into the nightclub business scene and I can’t wait to celebrate more years to come.”
“My club is exceptional because it’s a free world where you can buy what you can afford and still have a lot of fun. No minimum spend, just come and feel safe and happy at Ecstasy.” She adds.
As she celebrates Ecstasy’s one year anniversary, Esther’s story stands as one of ambition, undisputed resilience and visionary leadership. Recalling just how her journey to this point as been a year long she has redefined nightlife and proven that age is no barrier to success. As she plans for big projects in 2025 she remains an inspiration to hundreds of young female entrepreneurs.
On the 22nd of December 2024 her club marks on year and one thing is certain, Ecstasy is not just a place for a good time but it represents what determination and passion can achieve as this is just the starting point for Esther.
