NGO to Host Webinar on Tech-driven Business Growth

A non-governmental organi-sation, the Nigerian Youth Fashion Empowerment Week (NYFEW), will today (Friday) hold a two-day virtual webinar tagged: ProjectMakeMe 2024, to equip entrepreneurs and professionals in the creative industry with cutting-edge strategies for business growth.

The webinar with the theme: ‘Innovative Strategies for Business Growth: Turning Ideas into Profitable Plans with Tech-Driven Solutions’, expected to end tomorrow, will start from 11 a.m. to 1: 45 p.m. daily via zoom.

Speaking about the event, the Founder of the organisation, Matthew Kehinde, in a statement issued in Ibadan, Oyo State, emphasised that the webinar’s mission is to inspire innovation and collaboration within the creative industry.

“This year’s event brings together renowned thought leaders across fashion, photography, beauty, hairstyling, and modeling, offering participants practical insights to drive growth using technology,” he said.

According to him, day one, which will focus on “Tech-Driven Solutions in Fashion and Photography”, is expected to be moderated by a presenter with FreshFM/BlastFM, David Egwim, with facilitators to include a renowned fashion designer on technology in fashion entrepreneurship, Ejiro Amos Tafiri, and an acclaimed photographer on tech-enabled storytelling, Oyewusi Omoboyejo (Itsboye).

Kehinde added that the final day would have as its theme: ‘Tech-Driven Solutions in Beauty, Hairstyling, and Modeling’, and will be moderated by a radio presenter with Honor FM, Richard Oluwaseun Ekpo, while facilitators will be the CEO, Quisite Extensions, Lilian Ukwakwe, and will speak on digital tools for hairstyling businesses; Founder, Mahogany Productions, Sola Oyebade, who will speak on modeling and talent management; and an esteemed makeup artist, Sedi Temitope Bakare, speaking on innovative approaches to beauty business growth.

He stated further that the event would be an engaging platform for participants with expert presentation, interactive question and answers, networking opportunities, and digital resource pack while registration can be done free of charge for professionals and entrepreneurs.
