Okpebholo Congratulates New Miss Nigeria, Doris Ogah

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, yesterday, congratulated the newly-crowned 45th Miss Nigeria, Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah on her achievement.

The lawyer and model was crowned Miss Nigeria at an event, which took place in Lagos.
Ogah defeated four other finalists — Ann Eneanya, Divine Nelson, Bukunmi Ogunsanya, and Diane Paul — to secure the crown.
The 44th Miss Nigeria, Shatu Garko, thereafter crowned Ogah as her successor.

“It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to be given the opportunity to serve as an example to inspire and empower countless women and girls around the world,” she wrote on Instagram after she won.
The contestants went through various stages, showcasing their cultural heritage.
Okpebholo, in a statement, noted that “as a proud representative of the South South Geopolitical Zone and Edo State, Miss Ogah has brought honour and prestige to our great state.”
Okpebhbolo conveyed his congratulatory message through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Fred Itua, saying Miss Ogah’s triumph was not only a testament to her beauty, intelligence, and charm but also a reflection of her exceptional talents and passions.
“As a lawyer and gender advocate, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to promoting the rights and empowerment of women and girls. Her participation in the Miss Nigeria pageant was more than just a beauty contest; it was an opportunity for her to showcase her skills, values, and dedication to making a positive impact in society.
“During the pageantry process, Miss Ogah’s exceptional business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she won the business pitch event with an innovative product designed to support women and girls, which is a testament to her creativity, resourcefulness, and passion for driving positive change.
“Edo State Governor is proud to have Miss Ogah as an Ambassador of our State, and he celebrates her achievement as victory for all Edo people. Her success is a reminder that our State is home to talented, intelligent, and driven individuals who are making a difference in various fields.
