A- list Gospel Artistes Lights up ‘Experience’ 2024
The 19th edition of The Experience, world’s largest gospel music concert concluded successfully Friday night with thousands of worshippers gathered under open sky to praise and worship God.
Convener of The Experience, Pastor Paul Adefarasin said the concert theme, ‘JESUS WINS’ is a powerful declaration of faith and hope in the face of global challenges
The night was filled with electrifying performances from renowned gospel artistes as Travis Greene, Donnie McClurkin, Chevelle Franklyn, Chee, Israel Houghton, Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Mercy Chinwo and Ebuka Songs.
Others were Adeyinka Alaseyori, Sinach, Frank Edwards, Prinx Emmanuel, Mr M & Revelation, Moses Bliss, Micah Stampley, Bidemi Olaoba, and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir (LMGC). Rachel Adewale and Precious Emmanuel also graced the stage with their powerful voices.
The free to attend event also pulled a number of dignitaries within and outside the country including Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment,Mrs. Jumoke Oduwole, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Barr. Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin and Group Managing Director of CMC Connect, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, among a host of others.
The concert ended in a resounding success drawing a massive crowd across the globe to Tafawa Balewa Square(TBS) venue of the most talked about event.
Earlier at a press conference, Adefarasin acknowledged the impact of economic hardship and inflation ,adding however that it could not stop the programme.
He added, “Though our themes may differ from year to year, the foundation remains steadfast. Every melody sung, every prayer lifted, every hand raised to heaven announces the enduring truth that it has always been and will always be all about Jesus.
“The Experience is a celebration of faith’s resilience, a movement that transcends trials to attest to the unshakeable truth that, regardless of the circumstances we endure or the darkness that confronts us, we stand unshaken in the certain knowledge that Jesus, the Light of the world, always wins.”
The Senior Metropolitan Pastor of all House on the Rock Churches also expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of attendees and partners, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the event
