CFL Unveils Plan to Develop 1M Homes by 2035

In a bid to contribute to the country’s economic growth and development, CFL Group has launched its premium rice brand, Omotola Rice, aimed at tackling food scarcity. The company also announced plans to develop 1 million homes, tagged ‘The Grace Project’, in partnership with various stakeholders in the next 10 years across various regions in Nigeria.

Speaking at the company’s ‘End of Year Media Parley’, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CFL Group, Mr. Lai Omotola noted that despite the economic challenges facing the country, the company remains committed to expanding its business influence across major sectors of the economy.

“We understand that the market is challenging, and individual purchasing power has fallen drastically. However, we believe that successful entrepreneurs can lift this economy to greater heights. We must keep hope alive and remain positive. On our part this year despite the odds we can forge ahead against all manner of business headwinds. We expanded our property business and have been able to put together documentation for the development of our property business by commencing our project name tagged ‘The Grace Project’.

“We project the development of 1 million homes in the next 10 years and we shall be partnering with different stakeholders. Furthermore today we are test-running our premium rice brand, Omotola rice to tackle the issue of food scarcity and all, an Agric Mall is also to be constructed at Mile 12 market,” he said.

“For us, we believe successful entrepreneurs can lift this economy to greater heights. Entrepreneurs need to collaborate with the government in major sectors of the economy like energy, aviation, agriculture and infrastructure. Our Banks need to be more creative in supporting the economy.”
