NUPRC Emerges Servicom’s Best Performing Parastatal in 2024

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has emerged the 2024 Service Compact (SERVICOM) overall winner of the best parastatal at the Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) awards held in Abuja.
While the commission secured the 2024 overall best performing parastatal SERVICOM Unit (PSU) award, along with the 2024 best performing PSU, team B award, Gbenga Komolafe, the Commission Chief Executive (CCE), was honored with a recognition award for his commitment to ‘citizen-centered’ service delivery.
In addition to these awards, Mrs. Ann Ihuoma Dozie-Enukora from the NUPRC SERVICOM Unit, the commission said, received both the 2024 overall best performing nodal officer and the 2024 best performing nodal officer, PSU team B, awards.
In all, the commission, a statement by the Head, Public Affairs and Corporate Communication of the NUPRC, Mrs Olaide Shonola, said, received four top awards and an executive recognition.
The NUPRC’s SERVICOM unit, Shonola said, was commended for its 100 per cent commitment to service delivery, underscoring the commission’s consistent dedication to excellence in public service.
According to the NUPRC, this year’s awards reflect NUPRC’s ongoing commitment to quality service delivery, a commitment that has been recognised in previous years as well.
In 2022 and 2023, it stated that Komolafe received SERVICOM commendations for his leadership in enhancing customer-focused service delivery, adding that the commission was also awarded the SERVICOM partnership award in 2023.
National Coordinator and Chief Executive of SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, praised Komolafe for his dedication to improving service delivery within the NUPRC, emphasising the importance of ensuring that Nigerians receive timely and quality services from their government.
Akajemeli also acknowledged the NUPRC SERVICOM Unit for its sustained efforts in delivering excellent customer service.
