2027: APC Stakeholders to Reconcile Aggrieved Members in Adamawa

Top stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at its  headquarters have resolved, determined and  committed to reclaiming Adamawa state presently ruled by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) come 2027  general election.

The Chairman of Adamawa Reconciliatory  Committee(ARC), former Senator Mohammed Mana, made the announcement at the state Secretariat of the APC, stating the new committee’s mission in the state

He said the  ARC aims to unite the party and resolve internal conflicts that had bedeviled the party for two general elections held in the state so far. The committee, which includes notable figures such as former Deputy Governor Martins Babale, Sen Bello Tukur,  former Sen Abubakar Girei, former Sen Binta Masi, and Rt. Hon Yakubu Buba (Captain), visited the party secretariat to strategise on unity and takeover plans. 

Mana emphasised that the national leadership, including party chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje and National Security Adviser (NSA) Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, are committed to Adamawa APC’s unity and reclaiming of the state from the PDP.

“The committee’s mission is to reconcile aggrieved members and warring factions, ensuring a strong, united front for the 2027 elections. Mana expressed confidence in APC’s chances, citing the support of influential stakeholders like former SGF Boss Mustapha, former Governor of the state Bala James Ngilari, General Buba Marwa, and Minister of Livestock Muktar Maiha.”

As part of their efforts, Mana’s committee also engaged with the Adamawa Unity Forum, a peace and unity group established to connect with grassroots APC members. The forum’s new office in Yola, which will serve as a hub for connecting with party members across the state’s 21 local government areas, was commissioned by Mana and his team.

The Adamawa Unity Forum, chaired by Abubakar Lawani Girei, aims to provide opportunities for youth to grow their political careers. With the support of national leaders and influential stakeholders, the APC is poised to make a strong comeback in Adamawa State.
