IWG-Regus, APD Sign Workplace Agreement with Axa Mansard

The International Workplace Group (IWG) and Regus and APD Limited have signed a partnership agreement with Axa Mansard for quality workspace in Lagos.

It was the second event same day by the group, which earlier in the day signed a similar agreement with the Alternative Bank in Lekki, Lagos, as a proof of the group’s desire to acquire quality workplaces for businesses and other entrepreneurs in the country.

According to Regus, it offers ready-to-use office space, coworking, meeting rooms, virtual offices, traditional offices and flexible working plans.

The Regus workspace at the Mansard Place will be on the third floor of the six-storey building and it will open for business in February next year.

The CEO/Founder of IWG Plc, Mark Dixon, said: “We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in Nigeria with these latest opening. Lagos is a fantastic place for us to boost our expansion plans.”

The Country Manager of IWG, Ayo Akinmade, said: “The partnership wasn’t just to create offices for people to use but to be productive. This is a pilot that we expect to become a norm.”

On her part, the Chairman of APD Limited, Rashidat Adebisi, commended the strong understanding between them and the partners. 

“IWG team has shown a lot of resilience in providing a quality workspaces for businesses. This is a fantastic business location for us and Mansard. Mansard has shown commitment to quality, to deliver superior services,” Adebisi said.

The IWG has nearly 4,000 locations in more than 120 countries with members able to access all of the locations and business services through the IWG app.

The Chief Executive Officer, EMEA of IWG Plc, Marc Descrozaille, said the opening of the offices in Lagos, which is an important business hub, is a boost to its expansion drive and further strengthen its much needed footprint in Nigeria.

The IWG in 2023 welcomed over 800 new partner locations and counted 83 per cent of Fortune 500 companies among its customer base, according to a report.
