Tinubu Condoles With Jigawa Gov over Mother’s Death

President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with Jigawa State governor, Malam Umar Namadi, over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.
Hajiya Maryam, the family’s matriarch, who died on Wednesday, December 25 had since been buried according to Islamic rites in the governor’s hometown of Kafin Hausa.
The President, in a release issued on Thursday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, extolled the deceased’s community service and strongly encouraged her family to immortalise her by continuing her philanthropic undertakings, thereby ensuring her legacy lives on.
In a comforting message, President Tinubu urged Governor Namadi and other family members who survived the deceased to take solace in the enduring good name left behind by her.
