As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Premia Business Network (PBN) had a blood donation exercise in partnership with the Lagos State government, to save lives.

This activity is part of PBN’s end-of-year 2024 activities that had a large number of the community donate blood.

In a twin event, As part of its continuous engagement with its community, PBN prepped members ahead of 2025 on networking and audacious things.

Speaking at the recent event held in Lagos, themed ‘Audacious Dreams’, Keynote Speaker, and seasoned expert in Digital Technology and Innovation, Lola Ekugo, charged participants on being purposeful, intentional, and audacious.

Ekugo while taking the participants, took them through her life-motivating journey and success stories, and said the only principle of achieving set goals is to be intentional.

One of the participants who is also a member of the community is the Managing Director, Loatsad Media, Sophie Ejegi, who said it is important for an entrepreneur to be audacious to drive a dream.

“This event is very impactful and interesting bringing different industry leaders together and I have learned a quite few things.

“As regards the theme, I think every leader and entrepreneur must be audacious enough in everything they do. You have to be audacious to drive a dream. The theme is very relevant especially as we planning a new year. For certain goals, audacity is needed,” she said.

When asked about PBN and expectations for 2025, she said “PBN is a great platform. A great place to meet like-minded professionals. It is a very warm environment where you can network, learn, and make the most out of your business. For 2025, Nigerians should look out for innovative things.”

Community Manager, PBN, Gift Uyanwanne, noted the event has been designed to encourage members of the community to be big dreamers and to do audacious things as the theme implies.

She said: “We have different leaders and generations discussing in the PBN way what they do and what makes them stand out and why they are exceptional leaders. The conversations are real stories from real people.

“On the theme, PBN members work very hard and as well play hard. They are big dreamers. It takes the same energy to dream small and big and everyone regardless, is entitled to the same 24 hours. So why not do audacious things? Go hard daring as possible. Most importantly, we have resources in terms of professionals who can help on that job.”

Speaking about PBN, she said the community is made of audacious dreamers across all levels spread across 26 countries.

“PBN is just three years old and it’s a community of interesting people, audacious dreamers, and executors. We have members in about 26 countries. It’s a community of people who PBN has provided a platform to do business to gather and talk about life and family. It’s a community of investors, top professionals, founders, and entrepreneurs who have come together to help each other,” she said.

Revealing plans for 2025, Uyanwanne, said “We did audacious things this year and we look forward to doing more in 2025. We have a lineup of events that will bring together folks in the diaspora. Throughout the year, bigger and new things are to be expected.

“All I want to say is that, if anyone is not in PBN, I refer you to join the community. I feel not being part of the community is limiting anyone to do audacious things as we are doing in PBN.”
