Bagudu, Kingibe, Adedeji, Others to Attend Town Hall Meeting on Tax Reform

The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, Senator Ireti Heebah Kingibe, Chairman, FIRS, Zach Adedeji, Senator Babajide Omoworare, MD/CEO, NIWA, Bola Oyebamiji, will be taking part at the Town Hall Meeting.
The event which will take place in Abuja on February 6, would also have in attendance the Chairman, Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, Taiwo Oyedele, Chief Economist Development Bank of Nigeria, Professor Joseph Nnanna, Paul Alaje and other discussants.
The meeting, organised by El-Mavericky Centre for Educational Research and Development, is tagged: ‘Thinking of Taxes in a New Way’
The Executive Director of the Centre, Sulayman Nafiu, in a statement made available to THISDAY in Abuja yesterday, pointed out that the outcome generated from the meeting would further assist the government in policy formulation that will spark economic growth in the country.
The statement also that the Executive Director, Project Implementation, Federal Housing Authority, Remi Omowaye, Editor in Chief, Premium Times, Muskilu Mojeed, amongst other dignitaries would grace the meeting.
