BAT Nigeria Certified as Top Employer for 8th Consecutive Year

The BAT Nigeria has been certified and recognised as a Top Employer for 2025 by the Top Employers Institute (TEI).
This year’s recognition also marked the eighth consecutive year BAT Nigeria would be receiving this prestigious accolade that highlights its commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture, prioritising employee wellbeing and advancing sustainability.
This milestone would also cement BAT Nigeria’s position as a leader in human resource excellence with a focus on world-class HR practices that promote diversity, inclusivity, and continuous development.
By aligning with global best standards, BAT Nigeria said that it has continued to empower its workforce and drive its vision of “A Better Tomorrow.”
Commenting on the recognition, the Human Resources Director, BAT West and Central Africa, Ms. said Buky Olukoga, said: “We strive for a stretching and supportive culture, founded on personal commitment and responsibility.

The Top Employers Institute’s programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey.
This survey covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Wellbeing and more.
