Esther Okuru’s ‘What Love Left Unfinished’, Explores Grief, Healing, and the Power of Love

Esther Okuru, a Nigerian author, has penned a poignant memoir titled “What Love Left Unfinished.” The book is a deeply personal account of love, loss, and the journey of healing after the tragic loss of her husband just five weeks after their marriage.

Okuru’s book delves into the raw emotions of grief, offering readers a glimpse into the complexities of navigating loss and finding meaning in the aftermath. “It’s not some fictional story,” Okuru explains. “Everything in it happened from when Tobi and I met till we got married and his passing.”

“What Love Left Unfinished” aims to provide solace and understanding to those who have experienced similar heartbreak. “I couldn’t find any book that made me feel seen, that made me feel like I wasn’t crazy and so writing this was for me to give people a chance to feel seen and heard,” Okuru shares.

The book also serves as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of love and the importance of living intentionally. “This book will open your mind to the fact that true love exists and it doesn’t have to feel like a chore,” Okuru emphasizes.

“What Love Left Unfinished” is available in Nigeria at bookstores like RovingHeights and as an e-book on platforms like Apple Books, Selar, and Amazon Kindle.

Esther also told pressmen that working with Worital Book Publishing Company was a beautiful experience. “It was a great experience working with Worital. The manuscript editing and the attractive cover and interior design have received great feedback, all thanks to Worital.”
