Mental Health: EHA Impact Ventures Partners Blueroomcare

A gender-lens impact investing firm, EHA Impact Ventures (EIV), has facilitated a strategic partnership between its portfolio companies, EHA Clinics – a prominent network of primary healthcare facilities in Nigeria, and Blueroomcare – a mental health therapy platform, to improve access to high-quality, in-person mental health therapy in Lagos.

A statement issued by the firm noted that according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), an estimated 20 per cent of the country’s population suffers from some form of mental illness, yet fewer than 10 per cent receive the care they need.

Affirming that the need for accessible mental health support in Nigeria is critical, it stressed that this partnership between EHA Clinics and Blueroomcare represents a major step towards integrating comprehensive mental health services into patient-centred healthcare offerings.
