Also in the area of sports, it was during his stay in office as the CEO of the foundation that it hosted the popular super cup that brought Nigerian football clubs together in which the winner went home with a star prize of N100m. Till date, that record has not been broken and it remains the most talked about football tournament in the country.

In education, he rolled out several scholarship programmes, paid school fees for several student and helped others return to school.
