AY Makun, Basketmouth, I Go Dye Set for The Good, The Bad and The Beast

This Easter, Nigerians are going to experience a comedy experience on a whole new level as it’s a night set to be imbedded with laughter like never before.
Easter, as we all know, is always a time to unwind and have a great time with family, but this year’s Easter Sunday, which is on the 20th of April, would play host to three comedy kings joining forces for the biggest collaborative show ever.
In an unexpected twist, Comedy Superstars, Ayo Makun, Basketmouth and I Go Dye have decided to come together on a collaborative project to drive us into a hilarious chaos tagged, ‘The Good, The Bad, and The Beast’ – a night where comedy reigns supreme.

All three comedians are set to collectively bring decades of experience to the stage, having entertained audiences across Nigeria and beyond.
Their unique styles, artistic expression and impeccable performance have made them household names, drawing laughter from diverse crowds at home and internationally. Through their performances, they have mastered the art of storytelling, satire, and improvisation, ensuring that every show leaves a lasting impression.

From the theatrical play of Ayo Makun who has over the years used situations in different seasons to make relatable jokes to the outstanding serious looking face of Basketmouth who somehow cracks you up even before he starts speaking and finally boiling down to the hardcore and frank jokes of I Go Dye. Certainly with all the comedic elements involved this collabo project is one that is going to set a new record after its showcasing.

In a joint video they all shared across their social media platforms a few days ago to announce the joint show, AY leads the intro while Basket Mouth and I Go Dye joined in succession. But what seemed to play out like a rivalry in view soon presented itself as an opportunity for the trio to work together as the video concluded with each getting a mic off the three microphones in a box and charging up thereafter.

Last year we saw the reconciliation of both AY and Basketmouth after years of rift which gladdened the hearts of many. But with this collaborative effort, it shows there is beauty in togetherness and the power of unity in creating something truly extraordinary can’t be underestimated. But as regards the show, fans have reacted in huge numbers to this collaboration, citing their excitement and anticipation for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.
