The Spotify and Lamb Culture Collective Masterclass; a Game-Changer for the Nigerian Christian Music Scene.

Abuja became the epicentre of a creative revolution as Spotify teamed up with Lamb Culture Collective for Nigeria’s first-ever Spotify Masterclass on the 15th of March 2025. Over 100 artists, managers, and music pros from Lagos, Jos, Makurdi, and beyond flooded the venue, eager for a day of insight and inspiration.
Lamb Culture CEO Onah Marvel (Rehmahz) kicked things off, urging creatives to see themselves as problem solvers and community builders. “We’re here to shift the culture and lift each other up,” he said. He emphasized the need for the creative to imbibe and live out this CULTURE, which he defines as the predisposition of one to always think about people first. A lively panel with Marvel, Spotify’s James Propa, and Minkir (Management for Sal Ly) tackled funding, industry gaps, and more, delivering sharp, actionable answers.
Propa then owned the stage with a concise, power-packed session on Spotify’s tools—playlists, features, and all—arming artists to dominate the platform.
The Q&A that followed was electric, with attendees firing off questions and seizing a rare chance to connect with Spotify directly.
The day peaked with a song-pitching session, where artists debuted unreleased tracks to Propa and the crowd, sparking real-time opportunities. Attendees left with Spotify tote bags, jotters, pens, and Lamb Culture handbands—but more importantly, with fresh ideas and bold ambitions.
“This community’s energy is unreal,” Propa said, teasing bigger Spotify events ahead. “The talent here is ready to take on the world.” March 15 marked a turning point for Afrogospel—a louder, brighter future starts now.
