Nigerian-American singer Timilehin Akinsola, popularly known as Miss Timilehin, is making waves with the release of her third single, ‘Confidence.’ The soulful track, which dropped on Friday, March 21, 2025, across all major streaming platforms, marks her growing presence in the Afrobeats scene.

Following her earlier singles ‘All My Love’ and ‘Running’ in 2024, ‘Confidence’ reinforces Miss Timilehin’s determination to make her mark on the global stage with her infectious Afrobeats rhythms. Despite being relatively new to the industry, she remains confident in her ability to rise to prominence.

“I’m here to make my mark in Afrobeats and take over, of course! Why not?” she said in a recent interview. “I’ve been singing all my life, but when I decided to go professional, Afrobeats became my go-to medium. I love the beats and heavy drums—it’s fun and can turn any song into a dance hit.”

Miss Timilehin also highlighted her musical influences, which include legends like Michael Jackson, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, and Bob Marley, saying she draws inspiration from their dedication, creativity, and genre-defining contributions.
