She didn’t just stop at cosmetology—she earned certifications in Cosmetic Science (BTI Lagos), a diploma and master’s in Aesthetics (North American Board of Aesthetics), and an ITEC certification, ensuring she had the knowledge to match her passion.

Word spread quickly. Clients came in for treatments and left with more than just great skin—they left with renewed confidence. Her results spoke for themselves, and in a few short years, CubbyCays Aesthetic Clinic became a name people trusted.

The industry took notice, too. Mariam’s commitment to results-driven skincare earned her Best Beauty Clinic at the Maya Awards in 2021 and the Nigeria Achievers Award in 2022. But for her, success wasn’t in the awards—it was in the smiles, the thank-you messages, and the clients who finally felt comfortable in their own skin.

With the clinic’s growing success, Mariam knew it was time for more. She’s now working on expanding CubbyCays Aesthetic Clinic into a bigger space, one that will house a mini podcast studio to educate more people on advanced skincare. She’s also seeking investors to scale the business, reach more clients, and continue redefining the aesthetics industry.

Balancing entrepreneurship and education, she is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of East London, proving that true leaders never stop learning. She’s not just building a clinic—she’s building a legacy.
