Osimhen Brace Against Fenerbahce Fires Galatasaray into S’final

Nigerian international striker, Victor Osimhen scored a brace against Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce last night as Galatasaray zoomed into the semifinals of the Turkish Cup.

The Super Eagles striker opened scoring after just 10 minutes, before he made it 2-0 by tucking away his penalty in the 27th minute.

Home team Fenerbahce, who paraded Osimhen’s fellow Super Eagles teammate, Bright Osayi-Samuel, however pulled a goal back  in first-half stoppage time.

Osimhen was booked in the closing minutes of this cup clash as his team were reduced to 10 men in added time courtesy of a red card.

In the league, Fenerbahce are six points behind their bitter Istanbul rivals with a game in hand.

The highlight of the night’s Istanbul Cup Derby was the brawl between Mourinho and Galatasaray Manager, Okan Buruk, who the Fenerbache  gaffer grabbed his nose  following an altercation.
