El-Amin University Signs Strategic Partnership with West Bohemia University

The recent collaboration between one of Nigeria’s power houses in the educational sector, El-Amin University, Minna with the renowned West Bohemia University has been lauded as a landmark partnership that would transform education to greater heights.


Pro Chancellor of El-Amin University, Mohammad Babangida who described the partnership as part of the university’s commitment to deliver on its core mandate of providing a promising future to Nigerians through excellence education.


Babangida confirmed that the strategic partnership which is the first by a Nigerian university in the northern part of the country, covers a wide spread area that will guarantee the development of great professionals and future leaders in the country.


He explained that in entering into the arrangement, the management of El-Amin University Minna, Niger State has opened a strategic discussion with the university of West Bohemia aimed to enhance Research, Education, Capacity Building in Social Sciences as well as Engineering.
The Pro-Chancellor, El-Amin University, noted that for the new generation university to be in partnership with an international university, is a milestone achievement worth celebrating.


Mohammed pointed out that the area of collaboration is very broad, adding that in no distant time they would begin to narrow the areas of need such as funding, research, and infrastructure, emphasizing however that academic issues will be the main focus.


“The overall benefit is numerous because it puts the institution in the international stage, bench marks the institution against international practice, and provides the research opportunities and access to funding.” he added.


Dr. Babangida, who is one of the few Nigerian entrepreneurs with fast experience in the education sector spanning over four decades, assured that the University will continue to produce excellent graduates, advising stakeholders including parents to prioritize quality education for their children.
