Cross Riverians in Diaspora Install Chief Vinny Anya as Patron in Grand Ceremony

In a grand ceremony held at Electric Avenue in Enfield, London, Pastor Eunice Iferi-Chukwuemeka, Diaspora Coordinator for All Cross Riverians in the Diaspora for Governor Bassey Otu, officially installed Chief Vinny Anya as the patron for all Cross Riverians in the diaspora.
With a strong vision for the future, CRBO aims to highlight the achievements of Governor Bassey Edet Otu and promote people-centered governance. Their mantra, OTUISM, coined from the name of the governor, emphasides the importance of placing power in the hands of the people and bridging the divide between the upper and lower classes.

In her welcome address, Pastor Eunice Iferi-Chukwuemeka expressed her gratitude to the guests and members of the diaspora community for their support.
She highlighted the group’s commitment to supporting and promoting the good governance of governor Bassey Otu and community development, and emphasised the importance of working together to build a brighter future for Cross River State.

Iferi-Chukwuemeka further expressed her excitement about the group’s progress and the impact they are making in the community.
She praised the group’s efforts in promoting the governor’s achievements and encouraging people-centered governance.
Pastor Iferi-Chukwuemeka also emphasised the importance of unity and cooperation among members of the diaspora community, and called for greater involvement from all stakeholders in the development of the state.

Governor Bassey Edet Otu has made significant strides in improving the lives of Cross Riverians. Some of his notable achievements include the development of Kwa Falls and Agbokim Waterfalls, which are expected to boost tourism, create jobs, and generate revenue for the state.
The development of these natural attractions is a proof of the governor’s commitment to harnessing the state’s resources to drive economic growth and development.

Additionally, the construction of the Okurikang Road has improved road access, fostering stronger ties between communities and enabling easier participation in cultural events. This project has also had a significant impact on the local economy, with many businesses and entrepreneurs benefiting from the improved infrastructure.

The Edim Otop Road Network Project is another example of the governor’s commitment to infrastructure development. The rehabilitation of roads in this densely populated community aims to transform it into a functional and livable area. Furthermore, the revitalisation of Margaret Ekpo Airport, with the introduction of two new aircraft for the proposed state-owned airline, CallyAir, is set to put an end to flight difficulties in Cross River State. Nigeria born British, Chief Vinny Anya, the Ochiagan of ukpor, in Nnewi south of anambra state, a renowned businessman and philanthropist, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. As CEO of Water Logistics Nig Ltd, CEO of Core Outreach & Care Services UK Ltd, and Managing Director of COZ Housing UK Ltd, he is well-equipped to support the group’s vision.
His appointment as patron is a testament to his commitment to promoting the welfare of Cross Riverians in the diaspora.

In his acceptance speech, Chief Vinny Anya expressed his gratitude to the group for entrusting him with the role of patron. He described His excellency senator Bassey Otu as the best governor in Nigeria.
He pledged to work tirelessly to promote the interests of Cross Riverians in the diaspora for Bassey Otu and to support the governor’s efforts to develop the state and ensure he returns for a second term.
Anya also emphasised the importance of unity and cooperation among members of the diaspora community, and called for greater involvement from all stakeholders in the development of the state.
