HACEY Expresses Gratitude to Oyo State Primary Health Care Board for Supporting SRHR
A non-governmental organization, HACEY, has expressed its appreciation to the Executive Secretary of the Oyo State Primary Health Care Board (OYSPHCB), Dr. Muideen Olatunji, for his unwavering support of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) initiatives.
The team, led by Project Lead, Tomilola Oni, noted that the collaboration between HACEY and OYSPHCB has significantly advanced health care access for adolescents and young people in the state, adding, “Your support has been instrumental in creating awareness and improving health services for our youth.”
According to her, “The partnership has not only strengthened health systems but has also empowered young people to take charge of their reproductive health. We are grateful for Dr. Olatunji’s leadership and vision.”
Oni expressed optimism that the continued collaboration would yield even greater benefits for the community.
“With Dr. Olatunji at the helm, we believe that more innovative solutions will emerge to address the challenges facing our youth today,” she emphasized.
While responding, Dr. Olatunji acknowledged HACEY’s efforts and the importance of their work, adding, “It is our duty to ensure that every young person has access to essential health services. HACEY has been a vital partner in this mission.”
He further stated, “Together, we can overcome the barriers that prevent young people from accessing the health care they need and deserve.”
Dr. Olatunji reiterated the commitment of the Oyo State Primary Health Care Board to continue supporting HACEY in its initiatives.
“We are dedicated to fostering an environment where young people can thrive, and we will continue to work hand-in-hand with HACEY to make this a reality,” he concluded.
Present at the visit included the Adolescent Desk Officer, Adeniyi Ademola; M&E Officer, Isaiah Adedayo; and SRHR Alliance members and youth champions, all of whom are dedicated to promoting health and well-being among young people.
