Dufil Steps up CSR Efforts with N5M Grant

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) efforts, Dufil Prima Foods Ltd, makers of Indomie noodles has committed N5 million to children’s education in Lagos State.
The motive is to empower underprivileged students by alleviating financial burdens that may deprive them access to quality education.
By this gesture, 50 indigent students carefully selected across the Lagos were offered N100,000 grant to cover various educational expenses, including tuition fees, textbooks, and other essential school supplies.
Speaking at a cheque presentation ceremony that held in Yaba, Lagos in the presence of community leaders and stakeholders, Group Corporate Communications and Event Manager, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, Mr Temitope Ashiwaju reiterated the company’s commitment to education and societal development.
Ashiwaju hoped that the gesture would improve beneficiaries’ access to educational opportunities that will pave way for a brighter future.
He said, “We are committed to our mission of positively impacting society through various initiatives, and the Indomie Education Support Grant is just one of many endeavors that reflect our dedication to this cause. We will continue to impact lives through our several social investment initiatives.”
In his remark, Executive Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area, Kayode Omiyale commended the company’s act of generosity and consistent interventions to the needy.
“This gesture is highly commendable as it complements government’s efforts in the sector. It is a call for more responsibilities and a way of encouraging us to do more as a government”, he added.
Also commenting, Oba of Igbobi-Sabe, Oba Owolabi Adeniyi charged parents and guardian to make judicious use of the fund and not to expend it on frivolities.
Represented by Baale of Abule Ijesha, Chief Haruna Alli-Dawodu, he advised beneficiaries to put in the best to their academics, while urging them to hold their parent accountable on fund’s utilisation.
