MoMo PSB Sensitises SMEs on Payment Platform

As part of its customers’ education drive to deepen financial inclusion in the country, MoMo PSB, a subsidiary of MTN, has sensitised Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on its payment platform, as it launches a N40m incentive grant to over 500 merchant partners.
Speaking at the end of a two day MoMo/ Nigerian Association of Small And Medium Enterprises (NASME) business symposium and exhibition held in Lagos, the Chief Commercial Officer, MoMo, Elsa Muzzolini, said as a trusted brand from a reliable company they believe in collaboration to serve the needs of their customers.
According to her, MoMo PSB USSD is a simple business solution that without data can enable SMEs to connect digitally, hence the collaboration with NASME in Lagos state.
However, to further support SMEs, Elsa said for the next four months 500 merchant partners will receive N20,000 incentives to support their business.
“By the end of the fourth month, 100 partners will further receive N100,000 each and 1500 partners will also get N20,000 as grants. All this is part of our effort to get all financially included.”
Delivering his keynote address, the President of NASME, Abdulrashid Yerima, The collaboration between NASME and MTN MoMo PSB signifies a collective commitment to nurturing the thriving NMSME ecosystem in Lagos.
