Women4Africa Awards to Honour Entrepreneurs

Organisers of Women4Africa Awards has said the 10th edition of its award is devoted to empowering women while celebrating them.
Described as one of the of the most competitive global women’s events, the award initiative has grown to promoting growth of women through life-changing initiatives, including empowerment through talk shows and seminars.
Speaking, Co-convener of the event, Sam Onigbanjo affirmed that empowering women would not only see to the productivity of women and family members, but also the economy at large.
He said that this year’s programme holding on May 10th and 11th, would host hundreds of women to unforgettable two days of empowerment and celebration.
“This year’s event is about the celebration of resilience and doggedness at the NatWest Bank London venue. It will feature arrays of speakers from all walks of life, across the globe to inspire and engage women on topics bothering on key economic areas, including technology, real estate, capital markets, leadership, education, philanthropy and motherhood,” Onigbanjo explained.
He explained further that the first day devoted to the summit would provide opportunities for women to network and forge business partnerships with global players.
He further hinted that the award and dinner programme would honour outstanding achievers, who would also have the privilege to meet and unite with past award winners on the platform.
Past Nigerian winners of the award include Mrs. Aisha Buhari, Senator Daisy Danjuma, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin and Hon Abike Dabiri- Erewa.
Others are: Mrs. Oluwatoyin Sanni, Mrs Nimi Akinkugbe, Dr. Bisi Akin-Alabi and Actress Yvonne Jegede.
